We are looking for a small brass section (trumpet and trombone), keyboardist and percussionist to join our up-and-coming funk band, Apricott Jamm.
We are focusing on fat bass lines and mad grooves, and we would love to have all of our band mates to be able or willing to do backup vocals and have a ton of energy. Be prepared to be styled and have a new wardrobe cause we all gonna look crisp 'n' groovy. To us, fashion/style plays a huge part of who we are as a band.
We are located in Western Sydney Liverpool area but plan to gig in and around Sydney including festivals, clubs, bars, so forth. We don't mind where you're located in Sydney!
At the moment, we are focusing on stylising some covers before eventually moving onto originals after we have built up a decent repertoire. We would love to have members who are happy to develop and build the band along with us! We want this to be as fun and creative as we can make it, as well as serious enough to go somewhere!
