Poetic Kaos are a Melbourne-based original rock band blending southern rock, blues rock, dark storytelling and cinematic song arrangements.

Founded by Anthony Flask, Poetic Kaos create songs with grit, emotion and atmosphere — drawing from real life, loss, redemption, temptation, love, and the darker corners of the human experience.

The sound sits somewhere between southern blues rock, classic rock, swampy storytelling and progressive-style arrangements, with strong vocals, earthy guitar tones, driving grooves and lyrics that carry a story from start to finish.

Poetic Kaos are focused on recording, releasing and performing original music, with a growing catalogue of songs including Broken Wings, Blue Horizon, Pray To Mary, Seven Little Shadows, Mr Black Crow, The Quieter I Get and more.

We have our own private rehearsal studio with PA system, microphones, vocal effects, guitar amps, bass amp, drum setup, keyboards, recording gear and Logic Pro production setup.

Equipment includes TC-Helicon VoiceLive 3 Extreme vocal processors, PreSonus StudioLive mixing desk, Rode Classic II valve microphone, UA 710 Twin-Finity preamp, acoustic and electric guitars, bass, drums, keyboards and studio monitoring.

Poetic Kaos are set up for rehearsals, recording demos, writing sessions and developing original music in a professional, creative environment.
