START PLAYING HARMONICA
Places now available for City East Community College’s beginners’ harmonica course. Starts Mon Oct 21 at Erskinville and Tues Oct 29 Coogee. You attend a two hour lesson once a week over 6 weeks. For the final lesson, you and your fellow-pupils take to the stage with a four-piece blues band at the Coogee Bunker musos night! This batch of pupils also performed at the recent Bondi Winter Magic Festival. Teacher for the course is experienced musician Tony Maguire (the singer-guitarist in the video). Here’s what one recent pupil had to say: “To finish off the course on stage with seasoned musicians was quite an experience.
