Hi I'm Alex.
Drummer from the west wanting to restart a heavy project. I'm terrible at genres, but I think this is somewhere between prog and alt rock. It has low-tuned guitars, loops and drum machines, whacky time signatures, drops, breakdowns, etc. I have an ep which is essentially written, but I am not good at lyrics and I'm not looking for a solo project.
Looking for a vocalist to complete, record and release the ep. The next step after that is looking for other band members to gig.
Open to singers and screamers. I'm more concerned with the sound and quality of the voice (and lyrics), rather than saying I'm looking for a "male" or "female" vocalist. Queer friendly (I'm a straight white guy, but I have little patience for hate). Looking for a vocalist first and foremost, but bonus points if you can play something else as well.
Ultimately, I am looking for this to be a collaborative project, but most of this material is already 90% there and I’m just looking for someone who likes it enough to help me finish it and get it out there so it can be gigged. Very happy to get writing and collaborating with bandmates once gigs are happening.

EQUIPMENT
I’m not expecting everyone to have a home studio, but the capacity to record at home to some extent is pretty important. I have recorded the instrumental side of things at home but I am ready to pay for studio time when it is time.
