ABOUT

Hi There!

My name is Alex and I am based up in Mount Tamborine however often frequent the Gold Coast.

I am a singer/song writer/creator with a major focus on
lyrics/chord progressions that spread what I feel are important messages, whether it be related to politics, psychology, AI and the environment to name a few.

For me, even though the topic can be heavy at times, I do often like to put a positive spin on things, seeing the lighter side and the possible solutions while blending these in with the sound that matches.

Ideally I am looking for likeminded people that are either keen on no pressure jams every now and then and/or musicians who might be open to establishing a band. I recently released one song on Spotify (Not all Heroes Wear Capes) which highlights how society and media often portrays the wrong people as heroes while the real heroes that walk amongst us are often overlooked. Learning the production side of music has been a lot of fun and I am looking to release more songs in the near future with a view to a better, more professional and finished sound.

I think we are all forever improving which is another great part of the journey.

Influences

60's, 70's rock including CCR, various folk and celtic legends, some 90's. I love music that speaks to you whether that be through it's sound, the lyrics or a combination of both.
