Grew up fortunate enough to have bass come through to my ear in every song, at 14 started self teaching by ear and could play what I heard, did acoustic guitar in primary school as a left handed student but was told they had no left handed guitars so I play right handed.
When I was 16 joined a Perth punk band called 'times up' and played festivals and recorded ep's and albums with the band and played alongside Gyroscope and Australian bands in the scene like 28 days, Grinspoon, antiskeptic, one dollar short and recorded our full length with members from eskimo Joe.
After that I joined a different era of music and played in a metal core band called 'mandalay victory' we released several albums and toured around Australia, we played some some headliner bands including the Amity affliction and Parkway drive.
I kept up playing and have always had a passion for bass and sang clean vocals in Mandalay Victory.
These days I still have the passion and love the drive of heavy music but love acoustic and reggae music, I'm open to getting involved in any type of music if it's the right fit
