At the start of this year the 3 of us formed a female-fronted Indie rock/ Indie pop band and began writing some originals together (Keys, Guitar and Vocals) The 3 of us have played numerous gigs together over the the past year backing the singer with her previous solo music. Now we are working on our own band together and are currently writing our first EP, looking to book studio time in July/August. We write together and rehearse two nights per week in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, so we would be looking for somebody who can commit to rehearsal time and also be available for future gigs at night and on the weekends. Some influences of ours include, The Jezabels, Lydia, Smashing pumpkins, The art of sleeping, The Rubens, The xx, Of monsters and men.
At the moment we have the 3 of us (Dave- Guitar, Alana- Vocals and Andrew- Keys) Except our keyboardist is drumming in this band, so we are looking for a bassist and either keys or a second guitar, If you think this sounds like you, please contact us and we will send you some more info.
