Hi there. I live in the Campbelltown area and would like to join a small local band as a singer, just to practice for fun & play occasional small gigs of some sort. I'd prefer to be on a small singer team of 2 - 5ish singers. I'm committed & passionate about singing.
I currently sing on a Church worship team once a week (plus practice) and have done it for a few years. The reason I've selected Christian music as my main genres, is that it is what I'm used to singing, and I like the style and the acoustics and environment of a Church. I am however open to learning new genres.
However: I've got a condition that means I am quite noise sensitive, so noisy bands, genres & venues won't work. The band I currently sing with has electrical bass, acoustic guitar (with a mic), acoustic piano (with a mic), drums (sometimes), and 3 -5 singers (with mics of course), which works fine. We practice & play in the Church.
I'm also quite fond of some alternative / experimental electronic music, and like to play with Garageband on my laptop.

EQUIPMENT
My voice. I'm prepared to buy my own mic.
I'm mezzo-soprano. I don't have a particularly girly voice, just a normal but fairly strong, accurate voice.
