ABOUT

Hey everybody.
I am looking for people to jam with me for the fun of it.
I am exploring the world of jazz drums and if you play any instrument, from percussion, bass, piano, horns or anything else in the jazz, Brazilian and latin jazz bracket, have some time and think of learning and exploring music as something that can be made for the fun of it; if you don't mind the lab kind of practice where we can practice a fragment of any kind or length, if you feel excited with the possibility of creating music, then come closer because I am really having lots of fun, even on my own ? and creativity is my middle name.
Lets try bop, swing, latin, Brazilian, funk, jazz rock and you won't need to bring an amp, just your instrument.
I'm located in Prahran, send me a message.
Singer song writer with a repertoire of Brazilian music, jazz, jazzy pop rock and originals on guitar and voice. I am very adaptable, i love funk and dance music and to get in the groove, but I am an eclectic musician too, goid with chords, reharmonizations, guitar arrangements, can sing intricate melodies, arranged for six string bass, and for a range of styles on drums.
I'm known for being good at delivering the right groove for the song on bass and any sort of drums.
You bet!
I've got the rhythm in me. :-)

Influences

Too many...
I like good songs to which I listen to not much as a musician but as an excitable passionate music lover..
On drums I am influenced by the funky drummers, jazz greats like Elvin Jones, Joe Morelo, the pop classics, studio drummers...
On Bass, Ray Brown, Flea, Paul McCartney, the funk players and creative rock players in general.
On percussion I just play it and I know it's probably from listening to so much of it in Brasil, but I impress quite a lot. lol
On nylon guitar I try to arrange the way I want with all my influences playing a part here and there.
I love John Schofield and would love to absorb a bit more of his playing but I am influenced mostly by the Brazilian MPB ways of treating the guitar.
