About Us:
We are an established Drummer and Vocalist duo based in Alkimos and Padbury. We’re launching a high-end Yacht Rock tribute project focused on the smooth, sophisticated sounds of the late 70s and early 80s—think Steely Dan, Toto, Hall & Oates, Boz Scaggs, and The Doobie Brothers.
We’re in this for the music and the groove. We bring a professional, ego-free attitude and are looking for like-minded players who want to build a tight, "session-quality" sound for the Perth corporate and coastal circuit.
Who We’re Looking For:
We are seeking musicians (ideally aged 25+) who have the gear and the ear for this genre.
Precision, tone, and vocal harmonies are the priority.
Keyboardist: Must be comfortable with Rhodes, synth textures, and complex arrangements.
Lead Guitarist: Tasteful, clean tones and melodic phrasing.
Bass Player: Someone who lives for the pocket and can lock in with the kick.
Note: If you can contribute to 3 or 4-part vocal harmonies, you are exactly who we need.
Rehearsals & Commitment:
Frequency: At least once a fortnight (evenings).
Location: Rehearsing at Superfreak (Joondalup) or The Hen House.
Vibe: Committed and focused, but relaxed. We’ve all been in high-tension bands before—we aren’t looking for that here. We want a "pro-standard" result without the drama.
