Hello,
I mainly enjoy fusing together metal & synth sounds in different ways. I enjoy synth sounds of the Darkwave, synthwave, industrial and acid genres. My approach is more specifically metal with electronic influences, not Electronic music with some heavy guitars.
I like to write to fictional concepts, a lore/story, a setting, things like that. I have written a few songs that are inspired by an ongoing story I have loosely mapped out mentally, that is of a Cyberpunk/Sci-fi nature. The story informs the songs, not just lyrics (there is none, yet) but also the structure of the songs & sometimes the riffs themselves.
I’m mainly only looking to collaborate on writing songs for now, but I’m open to other ventures too. I like the idea of having a solid 5 or so songs that are of a very high quality, and then anything else can go from there.
I can produce full metal band arrangement with drum, bass & synth plugins at my disposal, but I also have my guitar setup with pedals as well as an Access Virus Snow & a basic recording setup (I record Guitar direct, not by mic-ing a cab).
My mixing & mastering skills are not that of a pro, I am just a home musician of many years who only really wants to write music, but over the years I have picked up enough tricks that my mixes are good enough for decent demos. Just want to write sick music & have fun more than anything!

Contra
Contra Genre: Metal
This song is my current favourite, even though it’s not my most recent. This is because this is an important & big turning point in the story. I’m especially fond of my writing capability demonstrated here that, to me, really does sound like it reflects the twists & turns of the story inspiring it. If there is one song that I have every single frame of an accompanying music video mapped out mentally, it’s this one. It has epic planetary scale battles, sudden soul-crushing defeats and a final stand to end it off.

Imperium (WIP)
Imperium (WIP) Genre: Metal
This songs is an unfinished second-part to the last song chronologically, Contra. Whilst Contra was an external plane, physical battle, this song is an internal battle in the mindscape of a certain being wrestling with its duality. This song has some video game soundtrack influences as far as structure.

Spaces In Time
Spaces In Time Genre: Metal
This song definitely leaned more into Darkwave with metal influences more than Metal with synths. I freed myself to try writing in a different way with this song & had fun with it; this song does not have a specific story or lore behind it, but is moreso a love letter to my love of Cybepunk 2077 than anything else.

Unnamed Synth-Metal Track
Unnamed Synth-Metal Track Genre: Metal
Just a tune that has some fun riffs I enjoy, but haven’t completed. Will revisit someday. I turned away from cleaner synths to more dirty, distorted synth sounds around this time, which might explain why I haven’t gone back to it yet.

Symbiota Mechanika
Symbiota Mechanika Genre: Metal
My “heroic” song, as dubbed by some friends who listened to it. The story beats for this song does include superhero-like elements too, so mission accomplished! Lore-wise, this song’s story sits at the “beginning” of the story I am currently creating. I feel that this song was a step up for my quality of mixing too. Not by a lot, but enough that I enjoy listening to them without my untrained ears picking out issues.

Animus Detritus
Animus Detritus Genre: Metal
This song’s story follows after Symbiota Mechanika, and takes the story from a Cyberpunk background to a more sci-fi place. I had just gotten my Friedman IR-X & Tube Screamer combo, and loved the tone so much that I went almost too hard on the guitars here volume-wise, in retrospect. I still like it as is, but the drums & bass could be more present. My main focus here for writing, outside of lore, was the channel the head-banging power that one can achieve with just a simple four-to-the-floor drum beat & chugging guitars, AC/DC style. Whilst still an important story beat, admittedly what I have imagined for this part of the story isn’t too consequential for the story at large, and mainly serves as a buildup segment to bigger events to come, so it’s more of a song that’s just there for some headbanging goodness. Getting back to basics, in a way.

Plunder & Thunder
Plunder & Thunder Genre: Metal
This song is the first in a run of songs that I consider having a shared “lore” behind them, that also inspires the composition itself. I still owned a microKORG at the time so I was able to use the classic Fat Line bass patch to give it a synthwave edge. The end of the song has “final boss” vibes that I really like too. Following on from the lore point, this is also one of several songs that I have a whole story defined for it, including where it fits in the lore, the story section that the song itself covers and the story beats as they line up with sections of the song.

CyberSIKE-Ø
CyberSIKE-Ø Genre: Metal
This song marked a change in focus when it comes to keys, as well as genre influences. I was freshly obsessed with Cyberpunk 2077 at the time. My current output mostly lies in this industrial-esque synth metal area. I am fond of this song for being the first one in this type of sound I now love, but IMO I did not yet break the ceiling of cringe on my songwriting ability just yet.

Wish You Weltschmerz
Wish You Weltschmerz Genre: Metal
Went for more of an epic doom-ish sound here, and started experimenting with a new way of writing songs, focusing on how the sections work both individually and how they can come together for something new. Nothing groundbreaking still of course, but I enjoyed writing this song at the time. I enjoy it at loud volumes very much.

Sweet Witchery
Sweet Witchery Genre: Alternative
Another song using organs with heavy guitars. Can you tell I had a Ghost phase yet? Wouldn’t call this one metal, don’t know what genre to label it. Perhaps “just another cringe song on the path to hopefully better songwriting someday”?

The Beaten Path
The Beaten Path Genre: Acoustic
I started out playing acoustic for quite a while before getting my first electric guitar. I wrote this around the same time I composed for a university short film. A leftover idea turned into this.

Of Cloth & Claws final
Of Cloth & Claws final Genre: Metal
Had a big phase of using cathedral style organs with heavy guitars. It’s a fun mix I enjoy playing around with. I think the idea behind the writing was “what if Ghost was actually metal?”. This song was sort of inspired by Bloodborne as well, specifically Vicar Amelia.

One of my first full-length recording. Uploading for legacy reasons & to document growth in songwriting & recording/mixing.
