Hi there,

We are Tall Walls, a four piece indie rock band from Perth. We formed in late 2022 and have played several shows in Perth.

Our bass player has recently left due to other commitments and we are now seeking a new bass player who can come in and not only learn our original songs, but bring new ideas to the table.

Our former bass player was a guitarist playing bass, so we feel as though there is plenty of scope to improve the bass parts in our current songs.

We are looking for someone Age 23-35 ideally.

Rehearsal are normally fortnightly Thursday evenings in Osborne Park or Malaga, however sometimes we do extra rehearsal in the lead up to gigs. We like to play 1-2 shows a month but sometimes will do more or less, we like to be flexible in our approach.

Influences

As there are currently 3 of us in the band we have a wide range of influences, everyone differing from another. We have no ambition to a specific sound; we just write music that we enjoy the sound of and build from there.

To give you an idea, we generally play clean or lightly driven guitars with minimal effects outside of ambient reverbs/delays.

Some of our songs will be jazz/pop inspired whilst others may be punk inspired.
