Hey Guys, I've been playing Bass seriously for around 10 years. I've studied with some of Sydney's finest bass players; Steve Hunter, Craig Calhoun, Brett Hirst (for Electric Bass) and John Maddox (for both Upright and Electric Bass). Before that I played Drums for 15 years, initially studying with Mal Morgan from Galapagos Duck who suggested I audition for the Conservatorium Of Sydney. I gained some amazing insights from a variety of teachers there: Nick Fowler, Gordon Rytmeister, John Morrison, Jim Kelly, Ron Phillpot, David Jones, Terepai Richmond, etc.) and previous to the Con I did a short performance course (Jazz Ensemble) at the University Of Western Sydney with Peter Zog. I've been singing for a little while now and recently I began studying with the very talented Jo Fabro (AIM). I've played in a variety of bands, projects and I have 20+ years of live and recording experience. At present I am singing (mainly back ups at the moment), writing and playing electric and upright bass with a few groups, primarlily with my originals band "The Funk Disciples" where my main focus is writing interesting, melodic bass lines that provide the foundation that serves the song. All of that I can bring to any band or artist. As you can gather I'm pretty serious about playing quality music, so if you would like me to play with or join your band, can you please have chord charts ready of any song you want me to play live or record, so I can write interesting bass lines? If you need me to learn note for note bass lines, can you please supply either the sheet music or tabs?

Upright KG Bass, Music Man Stingray, Electric Fender Jazz Bass, Warwick 5 String, Orange Ad200b Mark 3 All tube Bass Amp and EB Bass Cabinets (great for both electric and upright sounds). With all this I can cover most gigs.
