Played in every kind of venue and many types of bands, mostly playing a huge variety of covers to suit the venue and crowd. Recorded a number of songs and jingles as session studio bass and guitar player. Played bass professionally (full time) for 15 years; played electric guitar professionally (full time) for 15 years. For the past 7 years I have been playing part time as a bass player in Project Blue, an extremely competent and adventurous blues/funk outfit, sometimes electric, sometimes acoustic. For the past year I have been playing bass in the Aus and 80's rock band Touch Crazy, playing to packed houses in pubs and clubs in Sydney's Greater West and Central Coast. The band is a real crowd pleaser performing songs that everyone knows and loves, keeping the dance floor full and venues happy, with constant repeat business.
Project Blue decided to work a lot less from 2016, and Touch Crazy are also taking very few bookings for 2018 for a break, so I am seeking new opportunities, playing bass or rhythm guitar, preferably in working bands.
