Hey, I'm a lead singing drummer! Also a lead guitarist. I have a bass player, just need a guitarist that has some skills with lead solos, tight palm muting and can do pinch harmonics.
Or, there is also another option… if there’s any drummers out there who is keen to play drums in this band/project, I can jump onto lead guitar and sing. Must be a solid rock drummer though, and be able to do some double kick drumming too.
Melodic hard rock/metal is the style of this band. I already have 7 originals written & recorded, they’re on social media: YouTube, Spotify, ITunes, and Bandcamp, under the title Marlon McDonald Project. I'm looking for a hard rock guitarist that is keen to do some gigs and help out the project/band. Later down the track you could be involved in some of the songwriting as well, if it all works out.
Just need someone who is reliable, keen, enjoys the style, can rehearse once a fortnight to start off with, and can obviously play that 80s rock/metal style. The riffs and rhythm sections are technically not really that hard, mainly just the guitar solos that can be a bit tricky, that’s basically it. I don’t mind it if lead guitarists learn certain parts of the solo, but then they can also just add in a bit of their own style & flavour.. I don’t have a problem with that.
