THIS JUNK ROCKS is a new side project we are putting together to form a gigging pub covers band with maybe some originals thrown in down the track, once established. We’ve got an awesome lead vocalist with a great stage presence, bass player, quality gear, pro PA and lighting gear and are looking for like minded musos to come and join the fun.
Seeking a lead / rhythm guitarist and a drummer. Maybe a keyboard player too but we want to see how things gel with the guitar(s) first. Lead vocals and bass are sorted, so get in touch if you are a competent guitarist or drummer.
We are looking for a good standard (sorry no beginners) who can pick up new (old) songs quickly. Age range of mid 40s to mid 50s would be a good match, but happy to hear from younger / older musos too. The commitment is likely to be one to two gigs in the Melbourne region per month once up and running, with weekly practises until we find our mojo.
Posers or Prima-donnas need not apply! Must also be sociable and easy going.
