I spent the whole of my 20s playing a lot, mainly in original rock / pop bands around Adelaide.
While doing PhD in science in my 30s, I studied a bit of theory and played casually with friends, with a Latin/Indian/Chinese fusion outfit that had shows in the Fringe and Adelaide Town Hall.
I took a break from music in my 40s to focus on work and family. I started playing again recently and feel like the break was really healthy, having lost some bad habits, and gained some great ones through just listening to lots of stuff.
Am mainly looking to keep opening up my experiences, finding great chemistry, and feeling that delightful tickle of anticipation leading up to playing a gig.
