I love playing easy listening music & seeing the positive effects of it on the people listening. There's nothing quite like it in my experience.
Been out of the scene for about 2 years now but (very) recently have started practicing again with a view to picking up cafe, restaurant & other types of gigs. Have done a lot of busking in the past & will probably start there again. It’s a great way to ease back into the music life.
I played in a band in Nth Qld with my brother playing keyboard, mainly.
Sadly , he passed away from cancer about 2 years ago, & the band broke up. It's taken me this long to get back in the mood for it.
I moved down south, & tho I don't actually live on the Gold Coast at the moment , I spend a lot of time down here, & this is where I want to play my music.
I'm hoping there might be a female keyboard player who also loves singing, & may or may not play other instruments, who would be be interested in developing a musical routine we could take to the cafe's, restaurants, private gigs, functions etc.
If that's something that interests you, I'd love to hear from you, even if you don't think you're ready yet, but are keen to develop your talents. We can start off just playing for the fun & love of music, so there's no performance pressure.
