Bass and woodwind player looking to do something interesting across nujazz / funk / jazz / dance / electronic.
Needs a killer bass line, whoever or whatever is playing it. I’m currently focusing on my bass chops so that’s my preference but am open to woodwind as well along these lines.
I also have working knowledge (ie. have gigged to a basic level) on keyboard and guitar, and can drive various electronic tools and programs.
Have toured on bass with Lindy Morrison (Go-Betweens), Rob Snarski (Triffids / Black Eyed Susans), Cassy Judy, and had a residency with a pub covers band for several years.
Have also gigged with jazz big bands and community concert bands alongside professional musicians on both bass and woodwind.
Can play by ear, score, arrange and improvise.

Basses: At least one of everything we might need. I enjoy them all - upright/double bass, vintage and modern P-Basses, 5-string active J, active fretless.

Roland G-707 / GR-700 guitar synth plus a variety of more sensible guitars and amps.
