A collective of seasoned, professional musicians, Stylus Crew have carved out a special place in the local music scene, both public and private, corporate and club shows. Having a rotating roster of musicians allows Stylus Crew to really put on a show whether it be a 4 piece, 5 piece or more.
After spending his formative years in Mackay, eventually attending the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, Drummer and Band Leader, Mike Palmer was living in Melbourne, VIC, and was contemplating returning to his roots in Mackay. Having experienced the extremely high standards of Melbourne's professional music scene, he wanted to bring the same level of intense, focussed and quality performance to his hometown. So Mike put out an ad on social media, seeking Vocalists, Guitarists, Bassists, Drummers and more. This led to the formation of Stylus Crew - a new, exciting and polished roster of musicians working under the same ethos of quality, respect and passion for music.
With a few lineup changes over time, the current incarnation of Stylus Crew features a pair of Lead Guitarists, a duo of bassists, Male Vocalist - Ari Joseph, Female Vocalists, the Energetic Sammy Cole, the Brassy Kylie Angelique and New-comer Leah Michelle all lead by Palmer on Drums.
From 4 to 8 piece lineups, with full staging and lighting, Stylus Crew are more than just a band, Stylus Crew puts on a Show EVERY time.
