Wanted Musician or musicians for Friendship, Relaxation, Playing and Recording
We are a professional, mature age couple (65+) tired of lugging gear around and interested in playing music, doing some recording and enjoying ourselves. We have very good equipment and instruments and are reasonable musicians. Started playing in the mid 1950s through the 60s, 70s etc. We have digital recording and sound reinforcement equipment (PA monitors etc.).
Musical interests: 1940s and & 1950s jazz standards, Latin, 1960s, 70s rock, Shadows instrumentals etc, movie and TV themes, musical comedy, country and western, bluegrass and country rock. Some interest in Blues – but not an obsession.
NOT INTO METAL, RAPP OR LOUD PLAYING – AT ALL!
Persons would be most welcome for singing, playing, with a view to recording. An interest in or experience with MIDI set ups would be welcome.
Would consider ‘playing out’ at the right place. However, enjoyment, company and ‘reasonable’ music are most important.
It would be good to get together early next year.
