Hey I'm Jos, a graduate architect. In my spare time, I like to create my own musical pieces by playing the guitar and produce tunes digitally, alone or with others.
I have played the drums in a choir before, and had two bands where I used to play rhythm or lead guitar and sang backing vocals or leading position. Further, I played quite a big part in the creative process of writing the guitar parts, bass lines, vocal lines and lyrics.
I've always been very eager to create something of my own, because I feel that this provides the opportunity to express the real me.
However, playing some interesting covers, slightly tweaking them with my own style and sound, never bored me either.
I've always liked rock music with that bluesy edge, I think because I like a guitar that talks, not just plays.
Also, the layers in symphonic rock are very appealing to me.
Lately, I've gained interest in the combination of electronic music and live instruments, which I'm now writing and producing myself.
I'm a sucker for reverb, echo, delay and all that but would like to experiment with more effects, hence the interest in electronics.
I've got a soundcloud profile where I'm exploring the possibilities combining electronic input, vocals, guitar and keys/ synth:
I'm on the lookout for a drummer, bass player and keys/synth player (preferably musicians with some feel for vocals to sing harmonies and backings) to rehearse with and create more material. I want to take my tunes to the live stage and need other people to do so.

Marvels New Hero
Marvels New HeroA try out in electronic music. It ended up sounding a bit like a possible theme for a comic book action movie, hence the title.
