Since 2010, Hard Rock has hosted the world’s largest Battle of the Bands competition and found some of the most amazing unsigned artists from around the globe. This year, we’ve decided toMASH-it-UPwith our friends at Pepsi and fly three (3) finalists out to New York City, where they will battle it out at Hard Rock Cafe Times Square in front of a live panel. We’ll reward the best performers with an incredible grand prize:$15,000 USD.
All eligible bands, musicians, DJs and MC’s are encouraged to reimagine iconic songs into different genres. Use your skills to re-arrange huge arena rock ballads and transform them into dance mixes. Let’s hear your interpretation of a well-known country song spun into a pop hit, or a hip-hop track reconstructed into an acoustic folk tune.
Regional events will be taking place – SYDNEY (AU), NASHVILLE (US), SEATTLE (US), MOSCOW (RU), CURITIBA (BR) and GLASGOW (GB).
