Hi my names Hiriwa Rikihana i am 27 years of age and im a keen muso looking to meet like minded people who are also keen to get together and create some mind blowing tunes. I have been abroad the last 10 years between Australia and NZ but im back in melbourne with my wife and 2 kids and just really eager to get back into my music again. Im leaning towards originals but would be happy to start off gigging as a cover band to start with as i know it takes time for a band to gel and find the right people plus ultimately find its ‘sound’ Im a kiwi boy so i do love my funk,pop,reggae,dub,hip hop styles of music but of course i am open to all styles which is always good for diversity as a musician. I recently sold up all my gear upon my move back to melbourne, but i have brought a strat and will be picking up a fender deluxe amp to get me started. Hoping within a few months il have a drum kit and bass rig set up in a jam room for practicing and rehearsal.
