ABOUT

Keen on small group - 2-4people with good male female mix, with strong commitment to vocal and harmony singing. Trad and contemporary folk and country mainly. Developing skill on octave mandolin and will soon be working on mandocello. Have played in a bush band and can play jigs and reels on mandolin, but prefer a strong vocal/ harmony group. With soft instrumental fills, fingerpicking, etc. Want to rehearse at least once a week. Aso iterested in Busking and volunteering.

Influences

All the great folksinger songwriter and blues artists of our times. also like gospel but prefer existential/secular heart music. Lately loving Iris DeMent and Merle Haggard. Researching country actively at the moment. Love singing period. World music, Dylan, Beatles, You name it. Even love vocal excercises on YouTube!! But I guess it is really country harmony that gives me goosebumps.
