A lot of 90's alt rock (nirvana, weezer, pixies if you count them as 90's) some old emo music (american football, sunny day real estate, get up kids) math rock bands (covet, toe, don caballero) folk/acoustic/singer songwriter music (elliott smith, bright eyes, owen, bon iver, sufjan stevens), but my music taste is quite varied, going from funk bassists like viktor wooten, jazz bassists like jaco pastorious, james jamerson, mark king. rock bassists like paul mccartney, john paul jones
