The Fridays

Vocalist, Keyboard, Background Singer.

The Fridays stormed and formed in late 2017, brought together by their love of songs from artists who flirted with the mainstream while remaining fiercely independent. Their repertoire spans 3 decades from the 70s to the 90s.

Having cut their teeth in the Australian indie music scene in the 80’s & 90’s, these guys know how to play.

We're looking for a female vocalist / keys (synth) player that loves this genre of music. You'll get to shine on lead vox for a few songs (Joan Jett, Kim Wilde, PJ Harvey etc ), and add harmonies for the rest.

If you have the keyboard chops to play songs like 'A Town Called Malice' - The Jam, and 'We Can Get Together' - Flowers (Icehouse), then this is the opportunity for you.

We're competent musos with years of experience playing in original indie bands. We all sing and have worked up an established 3 sets of songs ready to go. We just need you to add the icing on the cake!

The Fridays recognise a great song when they hear one, and then they go out and play it.

Based in the inner west.
