ABOUT

Hi, I'm Jesse. I'm looking to form a group that plays spacious, hypnotic, atmospheric, groovy, melodic, mostly instrumental music with a mix of real and electronic instruments. Whatever that means!

Think Tangerine Dream meets Santana meets Dead Can Dance meets Air, if you can imagine that!

If you know the band Cave and their instrumental jams you will know the kind of thing I mean. There is a fine line between hypnotic and monotonous! It's all about the vibe.

I compose a lot of music in this vein and want to play it live. The mix of stuff in the demo should give a rough idea. There is plenty more. Happy to collaborate on any or all of this stuff as long as it's compelling.

I'm predominantly a drummer so I am looking for a guitarist, keyboardist/synth player, bass and a (preferably female) singer to take over from my rather limited vocal ability! Multi-instrumentalists or even a DJ could fit the bill potentially. Proficiency on your instrument is obviously crucial, as is the desire to just play simple but groovy music. Pretension or ukulele is not required. Thanks :)
