I've been writing music since 2006. Pursued a music career for over 10 years.Have recorded two albums, one EP and a one off track in 2017. Sold over 10,000 copies door to door between 2009-2011. Had my fill of disappointments. Just getting back into music after a break since 2013. Thought I wasn't going to be doing music again, but lo and behold, God has given me another opportunity to enjoy playing music again.

I'm only looking for others to jam and work on music with. Not interested in gigging. Got a Behringer U-Phoria UM2 with C-1 condensor mic to record at home. Just getting started in recording at home. I have no real experience recording other than what I have seen my producer do. Its a major step down from the thousands I've spent on recording my music with producers. I just don't have the money to do that kind of production anymore. Would love to be able to get a good home demo quality. So, would be interested in others who have knowledge of recording.

I am known under two artist names on the internet as Sophia Marie and also Wicked Wench. If I am to release anything new, it will be under Sophia Marie for I do not wish to use the Wicked Wench name anymore since becoming a Christian. I will also not be writing any songs which promote degeneracy.

I have lots of songs that haven't been recorded in the studio. My writing was getting darker as I progressed, but still have power ballads and softer songs. I write whatever comes to me that I find is worth of developing. I write all the riffs, vocal melodies, backup vocals and basic song arrangements. I do not have an ego with the songwriting process and open to all ideas that benefit the song.

Influences

I like all music genres except for some metal with cookie monster vocals. I also dont like scremo or black metal. I like everything else from opera, classical, world music, to metal. I like rap, dance, pop and r&b. However, I am not a fan of today's music as its all shallow with no feeling.

Members Of Band

I am the bones of my band as singer, songwriter and bassist. All of the previous members had a lot of influence on the final recordings of my music and I give credit when credit is due.
