Singer - versatile. Interested in all kinds of music. Worked professionally as a singer dancer aged 18. Also play keyboard.
AMEB piano exams - at grade 7 level.
Would enjoy joining a band but also want to play around at home making 'off the wall' original music with anyone else who is interested. I like to write lyrics.
Those who share my interest in this kind of experimentation need not be that musically advanced- just creative, comfortable with craziness, vulnerability and play; happy to bang a saucepan or whirl an eggbeater to make interesting sound.
When you listen to the Wiggles play the moronic "Do the Propeller" or Don McClean's poetic "American Pie" you can't escape the conclusion that music is spirit, emotion and communication. It's something way more than technique. It is that "more" that I'm interested in finding.
Open to playing around with some voices, guitars a notebook and pencil and a cup of milo. :)
