Hey hey there! So, in the short term I'm seeking generally just a guitarist to help me play my own songs around and stripped down as a duo to begin with. I'm also looking for local bands/musicians to collaborate with.. I just moved to the Gold Coast are would really love to find some and see hip hip, funk, jazz or blues sounding bands or individuals who could use a female vocalist to jump in every now and then.

In the long run, I have written and recorded a 13 track album , and am searching for musicians to play with me the music that's already been created. All songs and the music (bar a couple of piano and guitar riffs) have been written by me, buuuut recorded with better instrumentation. My goal here on this fine finder website is to source out an entire band to play alongside me so that I will be able to focus on what I do best - my vocals and stage presence - I like to go a little nuts and my instrumentation skills aren't up to the same standard so I end up selling the sound short trying to sing and play the songs. I am on the hunt for people to play the following - drums, keys, rhythm and lead guitarist/s, bass, trombone, trumpet, (sax maybe) possibly backing vocals. I require reliable musicians who play their instruments well and have their own gear and transport. I'm influenced by a lot of different genres and hope to play with energetic people who like diversity - and preferably genuinely enjoy the songs I've created. I want to have a lot of fun, and can promise that I'm a hoot to boot, but I am at the stage where I am taking this more seriously than just the casual jam stage and hope someone out there is too!

The songs are already made, so initially I would want them to be created live with that sound again, but after it's all tight like a tiger I am definitely open to any individuals interpretation of their instrument and the sound. I can send demos on to whoever may be interested.. have attached a couple of drafts of some of the songs on the album. There are others that are more rock and others more jazzy also.
