Hello.
I am an AMEB classically trained violinist with some piano, vocal and ukulele ability.
I have experience in chamber and orchestral playing from Melbourne Youth Music at VCA.
I really enjoy playing in the alternative live music scene but also like trying new things and all styles of music.
I typically read music but have a good ear to pick things up, can improvise to the feel of a band when jamming and developing new numbers.
I have gigged around various Melbourne live music venues, a few regional festivals, toured interstate, recorded EPs and music videos with a folk-rock band and another folk/indie female singer/songwriter.
Recently I have acquired an electric violin and am learning to play using a multi-effects pedal with some looping function.
Currently I am unable to commit to projects involving regular rehearsals outside of Melbourne unfortunately.
I enjoy gigging in local venues and also keen to be applying for festivals/events. As a band member I am always happy to help out! Or I am available as a session musician for hire.
