Born in Melbourne, Australia, Paul grew up in London after his family moved to the UK. He began playing guitar at age 18 and was inspired by such artists as Eric Clapton, BB King, and Jeff Beck. After teaching himself for a couple of years, he began studying with Jamie Moses (leading rock session guitarist for Queen, Boomtown Rats, Paul McCartney, Paul Young, Brian May, Guns & Roses). This led on to further study at the Guitar Institute of London, where he was taught by Shaun Baxter, Dave Kilminster, and other top session musicians.

On leaving the Guitar Institute, Paul played with various local bands around London before moving on to work with record companies EMI and Sony as a session guitarist, helping to showcase up-and-coming artists.

After moving to Glasgow, Paul formed the Paul Clement Trio, a rock/blues band who have been in the studio working with Graeme Duffin (guitarist and producer Wet, Wet, Wet) and Sandy Jones (producer, Wet, Wet, Wet), both known for their award winning 'Love Is All Around,' to produce a self titled EP.

Now back in Australia, Paul is putting together a new band to play around Melbourne and tour.

Over the years, Paul has played at many prestigious venues throughout the UK, including the Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, and Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.
