ABOUT

I have been a singer for many years, and performed in duos, bands, and been mainly a lead vocalist, but I also do harmonies. I did a jazz tour in Japan, country music tour and was the lead singer for the Brisbane Bullets many years ago for a couple of years.
I had a break for some time, but never stopped loving singing, and music.
Available for jingles, voice over work and would like to get back into singing again. I have missed it. I studied and also had another career in the health industry. But music is life. It is a connection for us all.
In the last two years I had been looking after an arm injury - torn tendons and bursitis. I got back into focusing on acting, a stills photography course, and on the audio visual team for the MBS Festivals when they are on in Bris Sydney & Melbourne. So now it is 2024 - but I am wanting to focus as well on singing again. You can take the girl out of the state, but you can't take the music out of the girl. :)
Availability is flexible depends where, when it is day or night.

Influences

Most female and some male artists that were dynamic, that have presence, great storytellers, that sing from the heart and soul.
Mostly from Southern Rock, Country Rock, Pop, Blues, R & B, Soul, Jazz and Pop. I have sung many, many songs in these genres. I like fun, beautiful moving songs, but love big ballads and songs that make you want to get up, sing and dance too. Audience or performers. Its about loving what you do.

I can play triads and some chords, on keys, but would have to brush up on that and same with acoustic rhythm guitar. I let that lapse, (gasp!) ... I got too used to being up front for bands.
So, there it is... Gotta get back into the beat and the rhythm this year again! Vocals come first though, then percussion, will work on the others as time permits.
