Myself and my partner (musical partner) have been playing music for about 7 months now, and we have gotten some amazing performance opportunities because of my partner. When we need some extra, different vocal abilities, we call onto another friend. We are about to record our arrangement of a cover for Kool Skools in Melbourne (the two of us, not our extra vocalist), and it wouldn't hurt to have some different instrumentation than the standard piano, bass, guitars, drums and vocals.

Influences
My personal influences are anything from the 1950's to the 1980's, and a little classical music, but my partner's are a lot more modern, contemporary pop songs. We both recently got leading roles in "Red, Hot and Cole", a musical on the life of Cole Porter, and we have both been influenced by him and his music.
Members Of Band
The main members are myself, Luke Bartlett, a guitarist (mainly acoustic), and back-up singer.
My partner is Gabby Steel, a powerful, incredible soprano, who can also play quite a lot of piano and a little guitar.
Our third, occasional member is Zhane Rodgers, another quite powerful vocalist, an alto or mezzo-soprano. We are all members of our school choir, so we all have a wealth of singing and performing experience.
EQUIPMENT
Really simple, depending on the pieces that we play, it alternates between;
3 microphones at the maximum, 2 at the minimum,
12-string, 2 six-string acoustic guitars, and
A piano/keyboard.
