Hi I am looking for a band to join to jam with, do paid gigs, and to also record an album. I have over 300 songs that range in style from folk, country, and blues rock. I am mainly a vocalist but I do play bass, some blues harmonica, and rhythm guitar. I am currently teaching myself the piano. I used to teach music and choir to grades K-7 and can read musical notation. Although not interested in joining a band my partner is a highly accomplished guitarist who can play all styles and genres of music and at times he will be accompanying me to jams or gigs. 7 years ago our best friend who was the drummer in our garage band passed suddenly and we have not found anyone we have clicked with to jam with. And we both really miss the scene. We never played any paying gigs but we did play solid every weekend for ten years in either our shed or at friends places or at parties. We also recorded a lot of our music on video and MP3.
