ABOUT

Ok, first things first, this is not a band... Yet... It's just me. We've Got Your Daughter was my last band in the UK which ended in dramatic fashion, so it currently does not have a name. Yet.

I'm a 25-year-old guy from England, who has now moved, and got my sponsorship to live in Melbourne.

I've been in bands since i was 14, gigging all over the UK, and recording E.P's as well as an album.

I'm looking to get back into the Hardcore/Punk scene, preferably to start a band from scratch, or to join as either a lead/rhythm or even bass guitarist.

Writing is definitely something I am passionate about, bringing fresh riffs to the table, coming up with new song ideas, and really making the music pop and be interesting. I like to get straight to the point, and want to make exciting music.

I've been in a band where I demanded solos, and make epic 6-7 minute long songs. I'm over that. My last band WGYD was all about the frontman, and making sure he was the focal point, and making sure the band wrote music which really showed off his attributes.

Punk is a bit of a strange word for me... and can be quite a mis-leading one to use, so, I won't use it. But the music I would like to play and write can be described using the following words;
- Riffs
- Breaks
- Phrasing
- Loud drums
- Quick
- Up-tempo
- Agressive
- Passionate
- Interesting
- Different
- Honest
- Distorted guitar/s
- Tight

Probably a lot more, but hopefully you get the jist.

A drummer is something I feel i really need to find first, as that's who i really feel the need to connect with, to help write the initial structure of the song. I love a good drummer. So much.

I feel pretty pretentious writing all of this, and I hate that. And I don't want to be associated with anything like that. I'm just a guy who likes to wear jeans, converse and a shirt (checked or denim, either or), with a few tattoos. I just wana play in a band again, and get creative.
