ABOUT

seeking other players, either guitar, bass or upright bass to play blues, in particular, medium to uptempo jump style blues. I have long list of contacts and I'm experienced in getting gigs at blues and swing dance venues. main interest is to further exploit the Melbourne swing dance scene. If you have a love of jump style blues, play either guitar (Jump Blues style) or you are a bassist, particularly upright bass, drummer who can shuffle or vocalist who plays harmonica. Look me up. There are gigs to be had. i am a currently working jump style blues musician whose current band (very hard working) is reforming to play for the bands considerable following of swing dancers but also to do pub gigs. My main instrument is upright bass but if you are an upright player I am also adept at playing guitar. Also possibly interested in playing in your band but it must be a serious project with committed and competent musicians. Age no barrier as I am no spring chicken myself
