Howdy, I'm 16 years old, and i am currently looking to join an indie/rock band. I haven't had much experience playing lead guitar, however, I do play a bit of rhythm guitar at my church. I can play Barr chords and improvise a little bit using the major and minor pentatonic scales, but I would still classify myself as a pretty amateur guitar player. I am looking for a band that isn't too serious and doesn't require extremely complex guitar playing. I received a brand new electric guitar for Christmas, which has encouraged me to take my playing a bit more serious, I figured joining a band would be fun and it would also improve my playing as well.
