I am retired and started voice training 8 years ago. I am told my voice is best described as "lyric baritone". I prefer to sing 1930s - 1950s jazz as well as blues from this and other eras, although I can sing other types of music with the exception of classical, heavy metal and hip hop. I would like to get together with either a small combo or a pianist interested in the jazz/blues genres to jam and potentially develop a repertoir with a view to performing non-professional gigs and beyond depending on how things go.
