I'm a 24 year old male looking to join a band that does either covers or originals, really don't mind, just want to play!
I work full time and DJ most weekends (pre-quarantine) but would love to get back into drumming, since I unfortunately had to leave my bands in Melbourne when I moved here for work (now living in Wollongong).
I've been playing drums for 12 years, as well as percussion at an AMEB grade 7 level (marimba, timpani, shaker, triangle - you name it) throughout my high school years. At high school, I played in a symphonic band and a jazz band that both won numerous competitions in Melbourne and toured the USA. Post-high school, I've played in multiple bands, including a Blues/Funk/Rock oriented band, as well as a cover band playing any hits from AC/DC and KISS to Lorde and Ed Sheeran.
I'm able to read music (just rhythm as well as melodies) and can also play along to a click track or backing track if necessary.

I have my own drum kit (Ludwig Breakbeat - a smaller jazz kit) as well as a Cajon (drum box) and a Roland SPD-SX (sampling pad)
