Equanimous the Caterpillar is a Metal/funk/jazz/psychedelic project I've been working on and off with for the last 15 years.

Originally based in the Blue Mountains, N.S.W, Equanimous enjoyed a great local following (1996-1999) untill other priorities put the project on the hold untill 2004.
2005 saw the release of "The Anubis Ruse" demo and in 2006. "Carousel Musik" was born. Later in 2006, I wrote "Opus" which is a tribute to the late Syd Barrett, founding member of Pink Floyd who died earlier that year. It's a 6 part, 24 minute, instrumental/ambient/psycadelic/rock/electric track in the styling of early '70s Pink Floyd. Something I'm quite proud of.

After a 6 year break, I'm back to working on Equanimous the Caterpillar. There's a significant change in what I'm making now. Much more like how I wanted it to be: loud, heavy, aggressive, bombastic,funky and sexy.

As a point of interest, none of these songs currently have lyrics. It's not my forte, but I'm really looking to find somebody interested in giving their interpretations of the songs within the confinements of the english language if you dig :) It's not currently important what part of the world you're in. Anybody that has any ideas or think you have what it takes to "mesh" with this project, contact me and we'll make it happen!
