Looking for groups to jam with and maybe even write and record tracks - I mostly play bass, but dabble in acoustic guitar and piano/keyboard. Just wanna have fun - no aspirations to gig or tour and sell records, but just enjoy music and create art, capturing a moment in time to build memories and improve my skillset.

I've played in bands before both writing songs and playing gigs at parties for friends - but nothing professional (we never found a suitable vocalist).

I've recently started writing poetry and enjoy the idea of telling stories through music.

Also happy to collaborate online and provide backing instrumentation with songwriters.

Influences

Musically I have a really broad range of influences from classical to jazz, and prog rock to hip-hop. Anything with a good melody and harmonies. My regular listing rotation is going to be heavily influenced by Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles (especially post Rubber Soul), David Bowie, Radiohead, Led Zeppelin, Cat Stevens... but I'll also throw stuff like Outkast, Prince, Smashing Pumpkins, Muse, Royal Blood, Rage Against the Machine, QOTSA etc in there too.

My bass influences are John McVie, Paul McCartney and James Jamerson.
