Band wanted. I want to be in a grimey and trippy sounding sludge/doom metal/punk band. I'm into mysticism and voodoo and witches and zombies and horror movies and weird stuff like this and excited to incorporate this aesthetic to whatever filth we churn then that would be sweet. I mean Satan is kinda done, but i think there is lots to explore in the world of mystical voodoo zombies. I'm currently doing a PhD in the history of zombie movies and like to read books on the occult so I have a lot of lyrics/ideas to offer. I think it would be cool to have some songs about being trapped in the jungle by cannibal warlords. I think Death's Zombie Ritual is a good premise. We could expand on that? and also just the cult vibe of electric wizard is pretty sweet. and into death cult imagery.
I'm a drummer, but I'm pretty basic. I just like to hit them sloppy-like and use double bass peddles. But tbh that's all we will need to start playing gigs. i'm not into being professional. i thikn the sloppier the better tbh. If you want to start a sludgey grimey sludgy sounding acid music lemme know
I've played in punk bands before, and my drumming style is more like hardcore punk than metal. but i'm keen to start playing metal or some sloppy hybrid between sludge metal and hardcore punk would be cool
