ABOUT

I have been singing and performing for fun since I was little, and commenced vocal training in 2008 as part of my Bachelor of Applied Music (Music Theatre). I've been involved in several music theatre productions and have extensive experience in the music theatre style. I have also developed skills in harmony work (and 4-part harmonies).

I enjoy singing in the Jazz and Blues style as well as pop and r & b. I have acting/performance training and experience, so can connect to a song/tell the story as well as sing the melody. Ultimately, I aspire to be a vocalist in an acoustic vocals/guitar duo or jazz/blues band as well as performing in music theatre productions

Influences

Grew up listening to Whitney, Maria Carey, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Etta James, Judy Garland, Debbie Reynolds and more, and today I enjoy the vocals of Jessie J, Beyoncé and Adele among many others

Music Theatre - especially productions such as Singin' In The Rain, Guys and Dolls, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Chicago, The Pajama Game, Catch Me If You Can, Les Miserables etc
