Progressive Rock outfit currently recruiting bass player.
Canephora are an original band whom create compositions through a democratic writing process. Generally, we aim to each put our own creative quirks into making music in the flavor of modern progressive metal and post rock. (With the occasional reggae and jazz inflections. We're not quite sure how it happened either).
Influences include, but are not limited to: Tesseract, Karnivool, Porcupine Tree, Deftones

Comfortable with odd time signatures
Happy to use a 5 (Or 6) string bass where required
Available to rehearse up to twice a week
Able to gig at least once a week with the long term goal of touring
Enjoys experimenting with their instrument and with others ideas
