Dutch blond looking for band!
My name is Annemiek, call me Annie. I studied songwriting in the Netherlands. In a few months I will be in Sydney and it would be great to find a band I can play and perform with!!
I find it hard to describe, but my music is kinda pop/jazz/ska/blues/folk.
First I need a guitarist, bass player and drum/percussion. Maybe you know people playing sax's or trompet? Banjo or mandolin? I love to have it all!!

My first influence, classical music. When I was 6 years old I started to play violin, did that for 9 years, but found singing and playing piano more interesting. I listened a lot to old jazz en blues, funk and soul. My favorite (famous) artist are Nina Simone, Etta James, Peggy Lee, Regina Spektor Manu Chao and a lot of French ska bands. I'm

Since I'm from Holland, I don't have any equipment in Australia. Maybe you know a good place I can hire or buy a(n electric)piano and especially a studio where we can practice.
