Classically trained on violin, cello & double bass.
Toured extensively in the 80s as a bassist and backup singer and did a reasonable amount of session work.
Haven't played professionally since the late 90s but have moved to Tasmania and am starting to re-kindle my love of playing.
Member of the Launceston Blues Club and do the monthly jam there.

Influences
R&B (the Wilson Pickett, Marvin Gaye type), Blues (Delta, SRV), Jazz, some Country, but I'll try anything at least once if it's well done and interesting.

EQUIPMENT
Jazz basses - 1 with, 1 without frets, Yamaha 5 string fretted, Ibanez electric upright, GK 200W combo, various harmoniser and Octave pedals.
Also lying around the house waiting for me to learn to play - Billy Tarrant cigar box, banjo, banjitar, and a couple of ukuleles
